A short talk by Charlie Jarrett prior to our Christmas party.

The Jarretts’ are probably the oldest family still living in Limpsfield village, dating as far back as 1204. Some residents will remember his father who ran the vegetable shop that once stood next to the memorial store in the high street.

Charlie will show some unique photographs from his extensive collection to illustrate his talk about Limpsfield village and those who lived there in days of old, including his grandfather who ran the local blacksmith’s shop and went to war in 1914, looking after the horses of the Royal artillery.
